Chinese fans from the J.P. DUBOSC collection It is with Mr. Jean-Pierre DUBOSC that Mrs. C.'s father gathered the collection of fans presented in our catalogue. Son-in-law of the famous Chinese art dealer Ching
Tsaï LOO, Jean-Pierre DUBOSC (1904-1988) pursued a career as a diplomat at the French Embassy in Beijing.
A collector and passionate about Chinese art, he contributed to numerous publications, among which we should mention the following:
- The Four Great Painters of the Ming Dynasty, 15th and 16th centuries. Text by Jean-Pierre

- 16th century Chinese painters. Wen Tcheng-ming and his school, presentation and study of some works, by Jean-Pierre Dubosc, Lausanne, M. BRIDEL, 1961.
