Beautiful carved and gilded wood frame decorated with scrolls and stylized foliage, acanthus leaves and flowers.

Located in Auffay, in the Seine-Maritime region, this beautiful Louis XIII period castle belonged to Renée Le Bouthillier de Chavigny, daughter of a secretary of state of Louis XIII, whose portrait of her daughter, Anne-Marie Beuzelin de Bosmelet (1668-1752) by François de Troy is kept in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen (inv. 1803.28).
