maroquin, smooth spine decorated with gilded fleur-de-lis panels, framed by a simple gilded fillet with
fleurs-de-lis, gilt edges.
The text is the fruit of the collaboration of two Jansenist theologians, Abbé Claude-Pierre Goujet
and deacon François-Philippe Mésenguy.
A copy bearing the coat of arms of Marie-Josèphe de Saxe. O.H.R, 2526-3. Covers rubbed, some
spotting on boards, with a heavier spotting on the second board.
