Ian Hofhout. 1726. 1 volume in-12, marbled fawn basane, ornate ribbed spine, red framed by a simple cold fillet on the boards. Fine restoration to binding. Second edition illustrated with a frontispiece. His voyage lasted eighteen months, from January 1702 to June 1704, and contains a fairly detailed description of the countries he crossed. The second part, on oriental diseases, was written by the physician Charles Dellon.
