Hendrik Hond. 1632. 1 volume in-folio, imitation blond calf, ribbed spine decorated with gilded caissons, large framing of garland, stippling, triple gilded fillet with large floral decorations gilt edges, gilt inner lace. Binding signed Ch. Weill Orléans. Rare first edition illustrated with 10 plates out of text and 26 figures engraved in the text, one of which with folding collet. Between pages 20 and 21 of the text, another page 21, with blank verso, has been inserted, entitled Le Troisieme plan d'infanterie, with a figure at the bottom of the recto.
