Colored satirical cartoon mocking the subscription launched in 1819 by the newspaper La Minerve to help Bonapartists who had taken refuge in Texas in 1815 after Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo. Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo and attempting to create a French colony called "Le Champ d'Asile".
