LEPAUTRE. Jean. La triomphante entrée du Roy et de la Reyne le 26 d'Aoust 1660. Paris/ chez Van Merlen (c.1665). 34 x 220 cm. Engraving in five leaves, large contemporary frame in wood and gilded stucco Minor foxing. Scattered ink stains. A few tears. Rare and impressive engraving depicting the royal couple's entry into Paris on August 26, 1660. The figures in the procession are framed in oak leaves, and numbered so that they can be related so that an explanatory text can be added.
