Marine set belonging to Admiral Flavien du Moiron, including his portrait, a ship portrait portrait of the ship "La Chimère", and a view of the vessel L'Océan in the middle of a storm. 1851-1854. On the back of the frame of Vaisseau L'Océan dans la tempête is a handwritten note by Flavien du Moiron "Lead pencil made by the ship's doctor depicting the gale or mistral wind experienced in the Mediterranean, by the three-decker vessel l'Océan, 120 guns flying the flag of vice-admiral Admiral Hugon commanded by Captain Hamelin (later Admiral) from the January 23 to 27 in the Gulf of Lion (1841).
