MAUPASSANT. Guy de. La Maison Tellier. Set of 10 original drawings by Jean AUSCHER, on fine paper, most of them with handwritten illustrator's name. Two drawings are signed one dated 1929. These drawings depict the often nude boarders and customers of the Maison Tellier, a brothel. Preparatory drawings for the illustration of Guy de Maupassant's Maupassant, which was never published.
