# Buffet in blackened wood opening with two doors, Boulle-style inlaid decoration, rich ormolu ornamentation, white marble top. The doors feature antique-style scenes in medallions decorated with bows and laurel leaves. Napoleon III period, 19th century. H : 109 cm - W : 169 cm - D : 48 cm. (Cracks, lifting, missing parts, sunstain). Specimen made from parts and fragments of tinted horn of domestic bovids, imitating sea turtle shell, of the species known as "boeuf domestique": bos toarus domesticus". Species not regulated under the Washington Convention (CITES) and EC regulation 338/97 of 9/12/1996 and the French Environment Code.
