91. A turquoise blue porcelain and gilt bronze mantel set comprising a clock and a pair of small three-armed candelabras. Each candelabra is composed of a dog of Fô represented sitting among porcelain flowers. The clock also decorated with a couple of dogs of Fô, sitting on either side of the movement, on a rocky mound. movement, on a rocky mound. White enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, partially erased signature. Louis XV style, 19th century. (Some broken and detached elements will be given to the purchaser, small lacks and restorations). Exotic wood bases in the form. Clock : H : 35 cm - W : 32 cm - D : 14 cm Candelabra : H : 24 cm - W : 30,5 cm - D : 15 cm The clock we present is a faithful reproduction of the one from the Louis XV period, whose dial is signed "Etienne Lenoir à Paris", now kept in the Louvre museum. An identical set was sold in London, Christie's, October 1, 2002, lot 22. A similar set was presented in Paris, Tajan, October 10, 2017, lot 182.
