Paris, Demonville, 1788, in-8, 54 pp., half basane fauve marbled, smooth spine with gilt filets, titlepiece [Oeuvres de Papion], yellow speckled edges (contemporary binding). Lack of leather on the back, but good copy. One of the last productions of Pierre-Antoine-Claude Papion (1713-1789), known as Papion de Tours, who ran the damask and velvet factory established in Tours by Intendant Fagon in 1756.
